Apprenticeship as a Precision Mechanic (m/f) at PFAFF Notching Solutions, Erkelenz

What you learn
  • Basics: manual and automated metal processing, automated processes like turning, milling and grinding. 
  • Reading of technical drawings.
  • Programming and operating of complex CNC-machines.


What you achieve
With the components that you manufactured you and your co-workers at PFAFF collaborate in building state-of-the-art notching and cutting machines that our customers need to produce automobile door sealings for a variety of premium car manufacturers. You will be working with the latest CNC machines, that will require your skills and craftmanship - it's never going to be boring. 

What you can be proud of
During your precision mechanics apprenticeship you will manufacture precision components, that will have to fit by millimeter - that's the requirement in building complex systems, where all drills, recesses and grooves need to be exactly as planned. 

What you can expect from us
You are going to work in production, fitting and maintenance of our notching and cutting machines right from the start. You'll get real life practical experience from the ground up, and it will mold you to a sought after specialist in this field.
